You will serve as a FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

Major duties

  • You will facilitate meetings, site inspections and tours to ensure a team approach to facility sustainment and planning issues.
  • You will provide liaison and coordination between customer and tenant activities, base and higher echelon leadership, claimants, stakeholders, contractors, local, state and other federal agencies.
  • You will develop plans, cost estimates, and project schedules or timelines.
  • You will provide input by use of developed plans and studies in assisting in the overall administrative and budget planning.
  • You will prepare point papers, briefings and reports to define, elevate and recommend alternatives for management review and action.

Qualifications

GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, review/analysis of facility projects, performing technical computer duties related to Real Property Management, planning/budgeting to include spreadsheets, databases, email, Geographic Information Systems AND coordinating major repairs and minor construction. GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, review/analysis of facility projects, performing technical computer duties related to Real Property Management AND providing customer service on technical facility related issues.
