Management and Program Analyst
About the Position: Serves as a Lead/Senior Management and Program Analyst in the G8/Resource Management Office located at the US Army War College.
Major duties
- Integrate strategic planning, programming, long-range resource requirements determination and manpower/force management resources.
- Prepare management studies, concept plans, insourcing packages, statistical data and fact sheets to support analysis, findings and requests.
- Responsible for the application and utilization of manpower programs.
- Conduct a wide variety of complex studies and evaluations of critical resource problems.
- Accountable for a variety of programs within the realm of resource management.
- Serve as the Field Gift Program Manager for the US Army War College.
- Develop the Annual Statement of Assurance for both US Army War College and US Army Garrison.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) performing analysis on the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational manpower work processes; 2) assessing hiring plans and manpower requirements for an organization; and 3) providing management with recommendations on manpower changes to improve organizational operations.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
