As the Information Security Officer , you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s information security strategy, policies, and controls. You will play a key role in protecting company assets and ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIS2 and GDPR.
Your roadmap to make an impact Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures
Lead risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability management programs
Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and other relevant frameworks
Monitor security incidents and lead response and remediation efforts
Conduct security awareness training for employees
Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement security controls
Manage third-party/vendor security assessments
Report on security posture to senior management
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, or related field
5+ years of experience in information security or risk management
Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanning, and incident response
Good understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements
Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor
Experience in cloud security (Azure/GCP security best practices)
Knowledge of secure software development practices
Soft Skills Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
High level of integrity and attention to detail
