Summary

We are seeking an experienced Geology Raw Material Buyer with a strong geological background and practical experience in geological surveys, mineral resources, and raw material sourcing. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing raw material resources, coordinating mining activities, managing suppliers, and ensuring a stable supply of quality raw materials for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological surveys of raw material sources and assess resource distribution, quality indicators, and available reserves.

• Evaluate the suitability and quality of non-metallic raw materials for ceramic production.

• Coordinate raw material mining activities and monitor mineral exploitation progress.

• Ensure a continuous and reliable supply of qualified raw materials to support production requirements.

• Manage relationships with mineral suppliers, mining sites, and relevant government authorities.

• Conduct supplier communication, business negotiations, and contract discussions.

• Support contract signing and supplier agreements while ensuring commercial and operational requirements are met.

• Identify and manage raw material supply risks to prevent disruptions to production.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Geological Engineering, Mining Geology, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in geological surveying or mineral resource assessment.

• Strong knowledge of non-metallic raw materials, particularly ceramic raw materials.

• Knowledge of cement raw materials, glass technology, and relevant mineral standards.

• Practical experience in geological surveys, mineral exploration, or raw material sourcing.

• Experience with a Geological Survey Department, cement company, mining company, or professional geological survey institution is an advantage.

• Strong supplier management, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

• Ability to assess raw material quality and identify potential supply risks.

• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, mining operators, production teams, and government authorities.
