Lead Engineer

We are recruiting a Lead Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading company within the energy sector.

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Lead Engineer to take a key role in leading an engineering team and contributing to the development of innovative, reliable and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities Lead and support the engineering team in their day-to-day work Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team environment Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues, management and customers Develop mechanical designs from concept through to production Solve complex engineering challenges across disciplines Support the professional development and mentoring of engineers Contribute to the development of innovative products and processes Ensure solutions meet customer requirements, quality standards and company objectives

Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of practical engineering experience, preferably from the energy sector Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent; master’s degree is an advantage Strong mechanical design and analytical skills Knowledge of relevant industry standards, preferably ASME Section VIII and API Experience with Mathcad is an advantage Knowledge of ANSYS non-linear analysis and APDL scripting is preferred Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills Experience with Connector’s Group products and services is an advantage
