Qualified Social Worker

Full-Time Locum Location: Devon Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience Total Assist Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the multidisciplinary team at a specialist private healthcare service in Devon. The service provides rehabilitation and ongoing support to adults with complex mental health needs , with a focus on recovery, rehabilitation and developing independence. The Role As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting individuals throughout their rehabilitation journey. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a caseload and completing social care assessments Supporting care planning, discharge planning and transition into the community Completing risk assessments and safeguarding work Liaising with local authorities, community teams and other external agencies Attending MDT meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary care planning Supporting individuals with housing, benefits, advocacy and access to community services Maintaining accurate and timely clinical and social care records Working collaboratively with patients, families and the wider professional team Requirements Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification Current registration with Social Work England Previous experience working with adults Experience within mental health, rehabilitation or inpatient settings is desirable Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and social care legislation Excellent communication and report-writing skills Ability to work confidently as part of a multidisciplinary team Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker looking for a full-time, ongoing locum position within a specialist healthcare environment.
