Job Summary

As Finance Manager at TOMRA Singapore, you will lead and strengthen the finance function during a growth phase, partnering with leadership to ensure financial governance, scalable processes, and regional collaboration across Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Lead TOMRA Singapore’s finance operations, partnering with the Managing Director and leadership team to support business growth and operational excellence
  • Manage day-to-day finance activities including accounting, reporting, cash management, controls, and compliance to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Review and optimize end-to-end finance processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and governance aligned with business growth
  • Establish and maintain finance structures, policies, controls, and workflows to support a fast-evolving organization
  • Provide actionable financial guidance and insights to support operational and commercial decision-making
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis for the Singapore business
  • Prepare and review monthly financial results, variance analysis, and performance reports for local and regional stakeholders
  • Monitor financial performance, cash flow, and key business drivers, proactively identifying risks and opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, statutory requirements, tax regulations, and TOMRA internal controls
  • Coordinate external audits, tax filings, banking relationships, and regulatory matters
  • Support regional finance initiatives, reporting, and improvement projects across TOMRA Collection Asia
  • Contribute to regional budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and cross-border finance matters as needed
  • Participate in finance transformation, process standardization, and system enhancement initiatives across the region
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the local finance team member for effective operational finance execution
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, collaboration, and practical problem-solving within the finance team
  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and enhance overall finance efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience including financial reporting, business partnering, budgeting, and compliance
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Proven ability to review, improve, and establish finance processes and governance frameworks
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with effective communication across business leaders and finance teams in multiple countries
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in a multinational environment with exposure to local and regional finance operations
  • Hands-on, proactive approach comfortable in a fast-growing and evolving environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound business judgment
