Our client, a UK professional services firm offering audit, tax, advisory and consulting services, is looking for a Pensions Audit Manager to join their London team.

Why This Firm

This is a firm that's consistently ranked among the UK's largest audit practices, and sits within one of the world's leading accounting networks, which has posted double-digit revenue growth internationally in recent years. It's also been actively expanding into new service lines, so there's a genuine sense of momentum behind the business rather than standing still. For a manager-level specialist, that combination of scale and continued investment tends to translate into a wider portfolio and more responsibility, sooner.

What The Job Involves

  • Managing a portfolio of pension fund clients, reporting directly to the engagement Partner
  • Leading statutory audits from planning through to completion
  • Acting as the principal point of contact for your clients
  • Managing and reviewing the work of your audit team, supporting their development
  • Drafting audit planning documents and findings reports
  • Identifying value-add recommendations that strengthen client governance
  • Delivering high-quality, profitable work to deadline and to the firm's professional standards

What You'll Need

  • Professional qualification (ACA, CA or ACCA)
  • Solid audit grounding, including pension scheme audit experience and a good understanding of the Pensions SORP
  • Good working knowledge of the pensions sector and its regulatory landscape
  • Ability to support and mentor team members
  • Confidence juggling multiple clients with competing demands

What's On Offer

This role offers flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, alongside a clear and structured career pathway with genuine investment in your development, including mentoring and paid study support where relevant. You'll also get a flexible benefits package built around your own life and priorities, life assurance, enhanced family leave, a pension with employer contribution, and access to an electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme. The firm puts real weight behind wellbeing, with dedicated support for physical and mental health alongside a genuinely healthy approach to work-life balance, plus opportunities to get involved in volunteering and community work.

If you're ready to take ownership of a specialist portfolio at a firm that's genuinely investing in its people, we'd love to hear from you.
