About the job Are you a commercially minded professional who enjoys building relationships with international customers and distributors? As an International Distributor Sales Representative, you will manage and support a portfolio of international distributor accounts. You will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, following up on sales opportunities, supporting distributor requests, and ensuring excellent service levels across your assigned accounts. Working closely with the International Distributor Managers and reporting to the VP International Sales, you will play an important role in supporting the growth and success of our international distributor network. This is an office-based position located at our global headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Regular international travel is not required, although occasional travel may occur based on business needs.

What will you do? Manage and Grow Distributor Relationships Manage and support a portfolio of international distributor accounts. Maintain regular contact with distributors through email, phone, and online meetings. Follow up on quotations, sales opportunities, repeat orders, and customer requests. Monitor customer purchasing patterns and identify changes in buying behaviour. Identify commercial opportunities within your customer portfolio and escalate larger opportunities where appropriate. Provide Commercial and Operational Support Act as the primary contact for assigned distributors regarding day-to-day commercial questions. Provide product information, pricing, sales materials, and documentation. Coordinate distributor requests with internal departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations. Ensure timely and professional responses to customer enquiries. Support distributor training and ongoing technical product knowledge. Manage Sales Administration and Forecasting Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and activity records in the CRM system. Prepare and maintain sales forecasts based on historical data, customer feedback, and market insights. Monitor forecast accuracy and identify potential risks or opportunities. Prepare sales reports, account overviews, and forecast updates. Ensure all follow-up actions and customer commitments are completed on time. Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Product Management, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations. Escalate commercial, contractual, supply chain, or regulatory issues when necessary. Support internal alignment on customer accounts and distributor activities. Share Market Intelligence Gather feedback from distributors regarding products, customer needs, and market developments. Identify risks, challenges, or declining sales trends and communicate these internally. Contribute to a better understanding of distributor needs and business opportunities. Ensure Compliance and Quality Standards Ensure all distributor communications comply with company policies and applicable regulations. Handle customer information accurately and professionally. Work in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and applicable QMS requirements.

What do you bring? We're looking for a proactive and organised professional who enjoys working in an international commercial environment. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working and thinking level in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Experience in sales support, account management, customer service, inside sales, or distributor support. Experience within a B2B environment; experience in medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated industry is considered an advantage. Experience working with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and preferably ERP systems. Skills and Competencies Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Additional language skills are a plus. Commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities. Strong planning, organisation, and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented working style. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Learning agility and a proactive mindset. Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
