Looking for a short term teaching placement in Abu Dhabi?

This is a two-month maternity cover role at one of the UAE's leading schools, ideal for a teacher who wants international classroom experience without a full-year contract.

The role:

You'll take over an Elementary class from the start of Term 2 (January 2027) through the end of February 2027, stepping into a settled curriculum and school routine rather than starting from scratch. Our staff describe the school community as unusually supportive, you'll be paired with experienced colleagues from day one, and even in a short placement you'll have access to the same professional development opportunities as our permanent teachers.

You'll need:

UAE residency with a valid work visa

At least 2 years' teaching experience

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject

A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification

This is a local-hire position (no housing or flights included), which suits candidates already based in the UAE looking for interim work.
