SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

We are a growing medical clinic group in Singapore specialising in fertility and women’s health. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant who can independently manage the full accounting cycle and support the CFO as the group continues to expand.

This is a full-set accounting role for someone who is open to understanding the numbers, not just processing transactions. You should be comfortable with accruals, prepayments, adjustments, reconciliations, audit queries and month-end closing, while also being able to prepare clear management reporting packs and presentation materials.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full month-end close in Xero, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, journals and adjustments.
• Reconcile clinic, hospital and other records to the general ledger.
• Manage payroll journals, fixed assets, IFRS 16 schedules, inventory valuation and GST.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, reporting packs and presentation materials for CFO and investor review.
• Prepare audit schedules, liaise with external auditors and resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, improve finance processes and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Handle day-to-day finance administration and detailed operational matters where required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent; CA, ACCA or CPA preferred.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience with strong full-set accounting exposure.
• Able to independently close the books and understand accruals, adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Comfortable liaising with auditors and preparing management reporting packs and presentations.
• Strong Xero or similar accounting system experience, with good Excel skills.
• Good knowledge of SFRS(I)/IFRS, GST and CPF.
• Hands-on, detailed and willing to handle both reporting and routine finance work.
