FOOD STALL ASSISTANT

Job Summary

Support daily food preparation and stall operations by preparing ingredients, handling customer orders and payments, packing and serving food accurately, maintaining cleanliness, and following food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking to support food preparation and stall operations
• Take customer orders and process POS and cashless payments accurately
• Pack dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders with attention to detail
• Serve and hand over food to customers promptly and courteously
• Replenish ingredients, sauces, packaging, and other supplies to maintain smooth operations
• Receive and organise stock deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the stall, kitchen equipment, and work areas consistently
• Wash utensils, cookware, and equipment as needed to support hygiene standards
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs to ensure compliance and customer safety
• Provide friendly and polite customer service to enhance customer experience
• Assist with opening and closing duties to prepare and secure the stall
• Perform other stall-related duties as assigned to support team operations
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak meal periods
• Collaborate with team members and demonstrate willingness to learn and contribute

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in F&B or hawker operations is preferred but not required
