Job description:

As a Key Stage 1 teacher at The English Academy, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of children aged 5-7 years. You will create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and confidence while adhering to the UK curriculum standards. Your role includes planning lessons, assessing student progress, communicating with parents, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for all students.

Skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (minimum requirement)

At least 1 year of teaching experience in primary or elementary education

Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 1

Excellent classroom management skills with ability to engage young learners effectively

Ability to plan differentiated lessons catering to diverse learning needs

Good communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and staff

Proficiency in using educational technology as part of teaching practice
