Local-language Content Specialist (boafo Voice Guidance)

Role Description The Local-Language Content Specialist (Boafo Voice Guidance) is a full-time, hybrid role based in Accra, with some flexibility for working from home. The specialist will develop, refine, and maintain local-language content for the Boafo Voice Guidance platform, ensuring clarity, cultural relevance, and user-friendly navigation. Daily tasks include creating and editing scripts, adapting content to multiple local languages, collaborating with product and engineering teams to test voice guidance flows, and reviewing user feedback to improve content quality. The role also involves supporting localization efforts, maintaining terminology consistency, and contributing to documentation that helps users understand and interact with AI-driven guidance tools. The specialist will participate in regular team meetings in Accra while balancing onsite collaboration with remote work. Qualifications

Strong skills in Translation and Language Services, with the ability to adapt content accurately across local languages. Excellent Communication and Interpreting abilities for working with cross-functional teams and conveying user needs. Proficient Writing skills for creating clear, concise, and culturally appropriate voice guidance scripts. Fluency in English and at least one widely spoken Ghanaian language (e.g., Twi, Ga, Ewe, Hausa) is highly beneficial. Experience with content development for digital or voice-based platforms is an advantage. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfort working in a hybrid setting, collaborating in person in Accra and independently from home. Relevant diploma or degree in Linguistics, Communication, Translation, or a related field is preferred.
