Job Summary
Lead technology and operations enablement initiatives by developing high-level solutions aligned with business outcomes and organizational strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage change, prioritize projects, and ensure smooth delivery of business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders for new technology and operations enablement demands
- Support Biz T&O Head in prioritizing business requests and providing actionable insights
- Assist Biz T&O Head in managing project pipeline, pre-project planning, and QR prioritization
- Build and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, technology, and operational partners to support business change
- Develop high-level solutions demonstrating feasibility to achieve target business outcomes aligned with technology roadmap and strategy
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and business technology services teams to ensure solution alignment
- Define and analyze comprehensive business requirements with business users and internal technology teams
- Design robust, end-to-end solutions considering process and system flows
- Initiate implementation plans for Group T&O projects, including business preparation for new operational processes and technical components
- Scope and evaluate new initiatives considering scalability, maintainability, cost, operations, and technology risks to provide informed recommendations
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, solution architects, and testing teams to clarify and define requirements
- Coordinate with business technology services teams to ensure smooth solution delivery
- Review test strategies, plan and support user acceptance testing, and resolve issues with a business perspective
- Identify potential problems, assess risk impacts, and propose effective risk mitigation strategies
Required competencies and certifications
- Strong business domain knowledge in Banking Risk Management, PDPA, and Client Tax (CRS) reporting is an advantage
- Demonstrated quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills to translate analysis into effective business solutions
- Proficient in data analysis, including Excel macros and creating quick mock-ups or dashboards in Excel
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision while maintaining focus on overall delivery
- Understanding of technology and operational processes across banking functions and departments
- Familiarity with change management processes and project management fundamentals
- Strong communication, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills with a strategic forward-thinking approach
- Resilient and adaptable with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments
- Experience in scoping and evaluating initiatives with consideration of scalability, maintainability, cost, operations, and technology risks
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant banking and/or consulting experience
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, Microsoft Excel, data visualization, PowerPoint, Visio, UML, JIRA, and Confluence
