PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST / BUYER (MANUFACTURING | EAST))

About the role An experienced procurement professional is required to join a leading global Aerospace MNC supporting its indirect procurement and sourcing activities. Key responsibilities Manage end-to-end indirect procurement activities, from requirement identification and sourcing through negotiation, PO issuance, delivery and supplier performance

Source and identify suitable suppliers and develop competitive supplier pools

Manage the full RFQ process, including preparation of sourcing documents, quotation evaluation, bid comparison and supplier clarification

Conduct commercial negotiations and recommend suitable suppliers based on cost, quality, service and business requirements

Partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear procurement specifications

Manage the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, supplier confirmations and deliveries

Support supplier qualification, onboarding and ongoing supplier performance management

Manage supplier consolidation and rationalisation initiatives where required

Maintain accurate sourcing records, quotations, supplier information and procurement reports

Ensure sourcing activities are completed within required timelines while maintaining a strong commercial and cost-conscious approach

About you Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or related discipline

3–6 years of hands-on Procurement / Sourcing experience, preferably within indirect procurement

Strong experience handling RFQs, supplier evaluation and commercial negotiations

Experience managing operational procurement activities from requisition → PO → delivery → supplier performance

Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills

Good understanding of procurement processes and sourcing methodologies

Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities with a cost-conscious mindset

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Experience with SAP R/3 or similar ERP/procurement systems

Able to independently manage multiple sourcing activities in a fast-paced environment
