Process Engineer (Wastewater/ 5,5 days)

Job Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and optimise industrial and hazardous wastewater treatment processes, including physico-chemical, advanced oxidation, biological, tertiary, and polishing systems.
- Evaluate incoming wastewater streams, determine suitable treatment processes, and conduct bench-scale or pilot tests to validate treatment feasibility.
- Troubleshoot process abnormalities such as effluent non-compliance, biological inhibition, membrane fouling, and process in stability, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, operating parameters, technical reports, and process documentation while guiding technicians and laboratory staff on testing and process adjustments.
- Ensure safe plant operations and compliance with discharge standards and EHS requirements, and support government inspections, customer audits, risk assessments, and technical discussions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or hazardous wastewater treatment.
- Hands-on experience with advanced oxidation processes, biological treatment systems, MBR, or related wastewater treatment technologies, with strong process troubleshooting, optimisation, and data analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of wastewater quality parameters and treatment processes, with good communication skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions in a plant-based operational environment.
