Trading Manager / Senior Trading Manager

The Company

An established and progressive business is looking to appoint a Trading Manager & a Senior Trading Manager to join their central team in Harrow. With two opportunities available, this is an excellent opportunity for commercially focused individuals with strong negotiation, supplier management and analytical skills.

THE ROLE

Working within the trading team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering category plans, negotiating with suppliers, managing cost prices and promotions, and driving commercial performance and profitability. The level of responsibility will be dependent on experience, with the Senior Manager taking a more strategic lead across the category and supporting the development of a Trading Assistant.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in trading, buying, category management or a similar commercial role
• Strong experience in supplier negotiation and relationship management
• Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets, promotions and cost prices
• Strong analytical skills and confident working with data
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
• Experience within a fast-paced commercial environment would be advantageous

Be able to commute to Harrow easily

TRADING MANAGER: Up to £55,000 – Permanent SENIOR TRADING MANAGER: Up to £60,000 – 7-month maternity cover
