We are a growing utility company in the Ottawa area seeking an AZ driver who is capable of loading and unloading materials and equipment. Our company specializes in underground electrical installations (traffic, streetlight, and hydro infrastructure). Health and safety is our top priority. *The successful candidate:*

• Must hold a current AZ license
• Must be able to provide a clean driving abstract
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Must have their own transportation
• Must be responsible, reliable, and punctual
• Must be able to provide an experience letter from a previous employer (or a copy of an insurance slip) for 3+ years of prior employment
• WHMIS and Working at Heights are considered assets

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a tandem dump truck with float and boom truck. This includes completing pre-use inspections, health and safety documentation, and other required paperwork.

*Daily Responsibilities:*

• Work in a safe and respectful manner
• Complete daily pre-trip inspections
• Complete accurate and timely electronic health and safety documentation
• Present yourself as a professional on all job sites
• Maintain a clean and organized cab, including all delivery and pickup paperwork
• Load and unload equipment, including backhoes (John Deere 310SL or equivalent), excavators (up to 13 ton), skid steers, and small equipment
• Load, secure, and unload materials on float
• Receive and unload aggregate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
