Senior Project Engineer

Key responsibilities Lead and manage engineering projects from commencement to completion and handover.

Coordinate project engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning activities.

Review project specifications, drawings, technical requirements and contractual obligations.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Prepare project schedules, manpower plans, material requirements and resource plans.

Monitor project progress, costs, productivity and resource utilization.

Identify project risks, technical issues and potential delays, and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery of critical materials and equipment.

Coordinate QA/QC inspections, testing, commissioning and project documentation.

Ensure project activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements and safety procedures.

About you Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline.

5 - 8 years of relevant project engineering experience.

Experience in piping, tank fabrication, structural fabrication, mechanical installation or industrial projects will be highly advantageous.

Strong understanding of fabrication and site installation processes.

Experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

Good knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control and resource management.

Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects or priorities.

Proficient in ACAD.
