Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to guide welding tasks Set up and operate welding machines and tools to join or repair metal components Inspect and test welds to verify quality, strength, and compliance with specifications Repair broken or damaged metal parts to restore functionality and integrity Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear to prevent injuries Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following standard welding procedures and company safety rules Preferred competencies and qualifications
