Job Scope:
- QS - Fire Protection
Lead and coordinate Fire Protection tender preparation and submission. Review and verify BOQ, tender requirements, specifications, drawings, and cost estimates. Prepare tender pricing, technical submissions, and supporting documentation. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotations for Fire Protection works. Review tender costing with senior management and obtain approval prior to submission. Prepare for and attend tender interviews, clarifications, and negotiations. Assist the project team with procurement of Fire Protection materials and equipment. Monitor Fire Protection project costs, variations, progress claims, and subcontractor claims. Evaluate Fire Protection VO claims and ensure proper documentation and approval procedures are followed. Manage Fire Protection subcontractor awards, payment claims, variations, and final accounts.
- QS - Landed Residential Projects
Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial performance to ensure projects remain within budget. Prepare procurement schedules and source/evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare tender submissions, cost estimates, and subcontract documents. Manage progress claims, payment certifications, Variation Orders (VO), and subcontractor claims. Monitor and evaluate VO costs, ensuring proper documentation and contractual procedures. Liaise with Project Managers, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial matters. Manage project costs from tender stage through completion and final account. Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors. Maintain proper records of project costs, claims, variations, and payments. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- QS - A&A Projects
Manage project budgets and cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
Handle projects from contract award through completion and final account.
Prepare procurement lists and schedules based on architectural specifications and project timelines.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor quotations and prepare subcontract documents.
Monitor defects, variations, and additional works, ensuring proper documentation and procedures.
Prepare and submit VO costs, progress claims, and payment applications in a timely manner.
Evaluate subcontractor VO claims and ensure works are properly executed and documented.
Follow up on payment certifications and payment advice to subcontractors and clients.
Manage progress claims, payments, variations, and project close-out.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Familiar with AutoCAD & Revit is and added advantage.
