CLINICAL OFFICER

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Clinician will provide quality outpatient and inpatient medical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education, and follow-up. The role also involves performing minor clinical procedures such as circumcision, wound dressing, and suturing/stitching, while ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical standards and protocols.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Registered and licensed by the Clinical Officers Council (COC).
• Valid Practicing License.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a healthcare facility.
• Ability to perform minor clinical procedures, including circumcision, wound dressing, and suturing/stitching.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
• Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Ability to work professionally and with minimal supervision.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety
