Truck Drivers

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 4 Truck Driver to join our growing team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class 4 driving license, a strong safety record, and a commitment to delivering goods efficiently and safely. Responsibilities:

• Safe Driving:

o Adhere to all Singapore traffic laws and company safety regulations. o Maintain a clean driving record with no accidents or near-misses. o Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality. o Report any mechanical issues or potential safety hazards promptly.

• Delivery Operations:

o Transport goods to designated locations throughout Singapore according to schedules and delivery instructions. o Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency. o Properly load and unload cargo, securing it to prevent damage or loss during transit. o Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable. o Complete and submit necessary delivery documentation accurately and on time.

• Vehicle Maintenance:

o Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure. o Maintain a clean and organized truck cabin and cargo area. o Report any required maintenance or repairs to the supervisor.

• Customer Service:

o Communicate professionally and courteously with customers and other stakeholders. o Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive delivery experience. o Resolve any delivery issues or customer concerns promptly and effectively.

• Compliance:

o Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, attendance, and time management. o Stay informed about any changes to traffic laws or regulations. o Participate in mandatory training programs, as required. Qualifications:

• Required:

o Valid Class 4 driving license in Singapore. o Minimum 2 or more years of experience driving Class 4 trucks in Singapore. o Clean driving record with no major violations. o Ability to read and understand English. o Strong communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks.

• Preferred:

o Experience with specific types of cargo (e.g., construction materials, food products, dry goods). o Knowledge of Singapore roads and routes. o Forklift operator certification (added advantage).
