*Shifts Available: *_Monday - Friday _

• Early Day Shift: 3:00am-11:30am

The purpose of this position is the loading and unloading of customer's freight in a productive, safe, error free, and time sensitive manner. A Forklift Operator will ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. Please note, licensed forklift operators must meet Speedy Transport Safety Training standards.

*Position Responsibilities:*

• Load/unload trailers according to company procedures.
• Identification of OS&D freight.
• Completion of necessary documentation with care.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned.

*Position Qualifications:*

• 1-2 years previous warehouse experience is an *asset*.
• 1-2 years previous counterbalance forklift experience is *preferred.*
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Cross dock experience is considered an *asset*.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment.
• Criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
