Radiographer

South B Hospital is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Radiographer to join our Radiology team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform X-rays, ultrasound and ECG examinations in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly and professionally.

Ensure high-quality diagnostic images and accurate examination results.

Perform routine and specialised ultrasound examinations as assigned.

Operate, clean and maintain imaging and diagnostic equipment appropriately.

Maintain accurate patient and examination records.

Observe infection prevention, radiation safety and other hospital safety protocols.

Work closely with Radiologists, clinicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout examinations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Radiography/Medical Imaging, Sonography or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant regulatory body.

Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting.

Good knowledge of imaging procedures, patient positioning and radiation safety.

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate diagnostic images.

Good communication, interpersonal and patient-care skills.

Ability to work effectively in a busy hospital environment and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
