Dispatch & Logistics Supervisor (Food Manufacturing Company)

Salary:  Kshs. 50,000 - 100,000 Plus Company Benefits

Experience: 

Minimum Of Three (3) Years Experience In Dispatch, Logistics, Or Warehouse Operations Within A Manufacturing Environment, Preferably In The Food Manufacturing Industry. 

Experience Supervising Dispatch Teams And Coordinating Transport Operations.

Requirements: 

Diploma Or Bachelors Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field. 

Strong Understanding Of Logistics, Warehousing, And Distribution Operations. 

Knowledge Of Inventory Management Principles And Dispatch Documentation. 

Familiarity With Erp Or Warehouse Management Systems Is An Added Advantage. 

Good Planning, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills. 

Strong Leadership And Team Supervision Abilities. 

Ability To Work Under Pressure And Meet Tight Delivery Deadlines. 

High Level Of Integrity, Attention To Detail, And Commitment To Quality And Customer Service.

Duties: 

Plan, Schedule, And Supervise Daily Dispatch Activities To Ensure On-Time Customer Deliveries.

Coordinate Vehicle Loading, Routing, And Dispatch Schedules To Maximize Fleet And Transport Efficiency.

Ensure All Dispatch Documentation, Including Delivery Notes, Invoices, And Transport Records, Is Complete And Accurate.

Monitor Stock Movement Between The Warehouse And Dispatch Area, Ensuring Inventory Accuracy.

Liaise With Production, Warehouse, Sales, And Customer Service Teams To Prioritize Orders And Meet Delivery Deadlines.

Supervise Dispatch Personnel And Drivers, Ensuring Adherence To Company Policies And Safe Working Practices.

Monitor Vehicle Utilization, Turnaround Times, And Transport Costs, Recommending Continuous Improvements.

Ensure Compliance With Food Safety Standards, Gmp, Haccp, And Health And Safety Regulations During Dispatch Operations.

Investigate Delivery Discrepancies, Customer Complaints, And Transport Issues, Implementing Corrective Actions Where Necessary.

Prepare Daily, Weekly, And Monthly Dispatch And Logistics Performance Reports.

Maintain High Housekeeping Standards Within The Dispatch Area And Ensure Equipment Is Properly Maintained.

Support Periodic Stock Counts And Inventory Reconciliation Activities.
