Duties:
- Perform general office duties
- Book truck loads by contacting customers and using online software
- Keep track of shipments and ensure products and goods are picked up and delivered on-time
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments
- Dispatch drivers according to schedules and work orders
- Coordinate the activities of the drivers using proper communication
- Use of trucking software
- Repetitive tasks
Skills and Abilities:
- Judgment skills and the ability to make decisions
- Strong communication skills, especially on emails
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
