Marine/Boat Mechanic

Job Summary You will manage repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of onboard machinery, including engines and generators, ensuring operational reliability and safety. Responsibilities Perform repair and maintenance tasks on machinery onboard to ensure continuous operation Troubleshoot mechanical issues in engines and generators to minimize downtime Apply mechanical fitment skills to install and adjust equipment accurately Diagnose and resolve hydraulic and pneumatic system faults to maintain system functionality Required competencies and certifications Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certification At least 2 years of experience in mechanical fitment, basic gas and TIG welding, and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
