Junior Specialist Consultant Oral Medicine

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a junior specialist / consultant – oral medicine to join its dental team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing oral mucosal diseases, oral manifestations of systemic conditions, facial pain disorders, and other complex oral health conditions while providing high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and manage oral mucosal diseases, salivary gland disorders, and potentially malignant oral lesions.

Evaluate and treat oral manifestations of systemic diseases.

Assess and manage orofacial pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and burning mouth syndrome.

Perform oral cancer screening and provide preventive oral healthcare.

Interpret oral pathology investigations, radiographs, and diagnostic imaging.

Collaborate with oral surgeons, orthodontists, prosthodontists, oncologists, ENT specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with quality and patient safety standards.

Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous professional development activities.

Requirements

BDS / DDS or equivalent dental qualification.

MDS / Master's degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification in oral medicine.

Relevant clinical experience in oral medicine.

Strong diagnostic and patient management skills.

Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
