Consultant Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Position overview

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced consultant/specialist oral & maxillofacial surgeon to join its surgical team and provide comprehensive maxillofacial and oral surgical care.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a broad range of oral, maxillofacial, and facial conditions.

Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures according to expertise.

Manage facial trauma, infections, cysts, tumors, and impacted teeth.

Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.

Collaborate with dental, ENT, plastic surgery, oncology, and multidisciplinary teams.

Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure high standards of patient safety.

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and professional education.

Requirements

Recognized medical/dental degree with appropriate specialist training in oral & maxillofacial surgery.

Relevant postgraduate qualification/fellowship.

Significant clinical experience in oral & maxillofacial surgery.

Current professional registration/licence in the country of practice.

Eligibility for UAE consultant or specialist classification, subject to the applicable PQR and final authority assessment.
