Job Summary
Seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, budget, risk management, and alignment with business objectives.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure project management and project cycle methodologies;
- Hands-on knowledge and understanding of key infrastructure components and environments;
- Strong experience in managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously;
- Practical knowledge of virtualization, batch environments, and SAN technologies;
- Experience across Network, Security, Storage, Database, Workplace, and Telecom projects;
- Strong ability to identify, assess, anticipate, and mitigate project risks and issues;
- Strong resource management and project team coordination capabilities;
- Good experience in project budget tracking, forecasting, and stakeholder reporting;
- Strong knowledge of MS Project and MS Office suite for project planning and reporting;
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Desired Skill-set
- PMP or other relevant project management certification would be a plus;
- High-level understanding of software development;
- Experience working in banking environment.
Responsibilities
- Clarify client requirements and translate business needs into structured requirement lists;
- Define project deliverables, assumptions, risks, issues, and appropriate mitigation actions;
- Anticipate compliance and regulatory requirements and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders;
- Define, measure, and report project KPIs with the appropriate level of information;
- Identify required resources and establish and coordinate project teams across different environments;
- Report and escalate significant risks and issues to the Sponsor and local management;
- Manage project changes, communicate impacts to the Sponsor, and obtain required approvals;
- Track project budgets, actuals, and forecasts and provide regular updates to stakeholders;
- Establish controls to ensure project deliverables meet validated requirements and manage handover to production teams;
- Continuously improve project management processes, toolkits, and methodologies.
