Estimation Engineer- Mechanical

Review project specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documents to understand project requirements.   

Conduct detailed take-offs and quantify the amount of steel needed for fabrication based on project plans.   

Estimate material costs, including steel plates, beams, pipes, and other components, by sourcing prices from suppliers and vendors.   

Analyze fabrication processes, labor requirements, and production schedules to determine the cost of manufacturing steel structures & Static equipment.   

Collaborate with fabrication teams, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate cost estimates and pricing proposals.   

Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing for outsourced fabrication services.   

Prepare detailed Cost Estimation & Techno-Commercial offers for Steel -Structures, Pressure Vessels, Shop tanks, Site Erected tanks, Piping Works, and any other types of Steel Products.   

Participate in pre-bid meetings, and client presentations to discuss project requirements and cost estimates.   

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related engineering field.   

Previous experience in the steel fabrication industry is required, with hands-on exposure to fabrication processes, shop drawings, material take-offs (MTO), production, and quality requirements.

Previous experience in Cost Estimation/Cost Control for Steel fabricated products.   

Good knowledge of the Saudi market, particularly Saudi Aramco requirements.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.  

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.   

Very good English.
