PREPARE, COOK, AND PRESENT A WIDE VARIETY OF AUTHENTIC THAI AND ASIAN WOK DISHES TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes in your section, ensuring quality and consistency of output
- Follow and execute pre-determined recipes and guidelines accurately
- Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff, delegating tasks effectively and providing training where needed
- Monitor and maintain strict food quality, ensuring all dishes meet safety regulations, presentation, and taste standards
- Manage stock levels of ingredients, track wastage, and assist with ordering to ensure cost-efficiency and minimise waste
- Collaborate with senior chefs to help design and develop new dishes, considering customer feedback and market trends
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP and health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen at all times
- Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and dining areas
- Address any operational challenges that arise, such as supply shortages or kitchen equipment malfunctions
