Chinese Cuisine Chef - Orchard (From 5 Days, $3,000-$4,500)
Job Description
We are looking for a Chinese Cuisine Chef to join our casual restaurant in the Orchard area. Our restaurant serves ramen and casual Chinese dishes in a fast-paced and friendly environment.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Chinese wok cooking and be able to handle a wok independently.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook casual Chinese dishes
- Handle wok cooking independently
- Prepare wok-fried and deep-fried dishes
- Handle daily mise en place and ingredient preparation
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
- Assist with stock preparation, storage and inventory
- Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures
- Work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen team members
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen experience
- Must have hands-on experience in Chinese wok cooking and be able to handle a wok independently
- Experience in Chinese cuisine or casual Chinese restaurants is preferred
- Good knife skills and understanding of kitchen operations
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Responsible and reliable
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
- Food hygiene certification is an advantage
Salary
SGD $3,000 – $4,500 per month , depending on experience, ability and working schedule.
