Quantity Surveyor

Junior/Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contract Manager (37886) Location: North Our client is a leading interior fit-out and furniture solutions provider specialising in high-quality, custom-built interiors for commercial, hospitality, and residential spaces. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior/Senior Quantity Surveyor or Contract Manager with relevant experience in renovation or interior fit-out works. You will be involved in tender preparation, cost control, procurement coordination, variation orders, progress claims, and project close-out, working closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders.

【 Responsibilities 】 Tender Stage

• Prepare competitive cost estimates and tender submissions in accordance with client budgets and timelines.
• Conduct competitor and industry cost analyses and regularly review the company’s Schedule of Rates (SOR).
• Follow up with clients on the status of tender submissions and regularly update the quotation list.
• Work closely with the Business Development and Quantity Surveying teams to review and prioritise tender opportunities.

Project Stage

• Prepare and submit material purchase requisitions through the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and the Procurement team to ensure purchases are aligned with project budgets and schedules.
• Liaise with insurance companies regarding coverage requirements and procurement-related matters.
• Track and document design changes and maintain accurate Variation Order records.
• Work with Project Managers to monitor project progress and prepare progress claims and billings in accordance with contractual terms.
• Assist with project close-out, ensuring that all works and Variation Orders are completed and properly billed.
• Prepare and submit retention claims upon completion of the Defects Liability Period.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

• GCE ‘N’/‘O’ Level, Diploma in Quantity Surveying, or a relevant discipline.
• Junior Quantity Surveyor: At least 1–2 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in renovation and interior fit-out projects in Singapore.
• Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contract Manager: At least 3–4 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in renovation and interior fit-out projects in Singapore.
• Experience in interior design and joinery projects.
• Sound technical understanding of joinery detailing and renovation and fit-out works in Singapore.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with English- and Mandarin-speaking clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Comfortable working a 5.5-day work week. Saturday work is generally limited to half a day and is rarely required; the arrangement will be stated in the employment contract.
• Willing to work additional hours when required to meet project timelines.

(Advantageous)

• Familiarity with ERP systems will be an advantage.
