Wembley Based Local Authority | Hybrid Working £27.81 PAYE per Hour | £36.62 Umbrella per Hour Immediate Start | Ongoing Temporary Assignment

We are recruiting for an experienced PRSO Team Leader to join a busy Local Authority housing service in Wembley.

You will lead the allocation of Private Rented Sector accommodation, ensuring the Council meets its statutory homelessness duties and delivers high-quality housing solutions for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the PRSO and accommodation allocation process.
• Manage and develop a frontline Housing Needs team.
• Oversee suitable accommodation offers in line with homelessness legislation.
• Handle complex homelessness cases, complaints and escalations.
• Work closely with landlords, accommodation providers and internal stakeholders.
• Support service improvement and performance management initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• Significant experience within the Private Rented Sector , ideally in a Local Authority setting.
• Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation, housing options and housing needs services.
• Experience making and/or reviewing suitable accommodation offers.
• Proven experience managing housing, homelessness or housing options teams.
• Excellent customer service, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage complex cases and competing priorities.
