Roles & Responsibilities

End Client Govt Project: CAT2A Clearance (Approx 45 Days) (SG/SPR) Title: Senior Pega Developer (Senior Software Developer) (x02 Pax) Location: Default Central Region (Geylang Bahru Lane) Basic: $6000~$5000 Mon-Fri: 9AM-6PM Contract: 2 Years Completion Bonus: Yes Medical Leave Benefits: 15 days Notice Period: 2 Months Probation Period: 3 Months Annual Leave: 14 Days

Job Scope & Requirement

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve production incidents, application defects, and performance issues to ensure system availability and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for complex production issues and recommend sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues involving internal applications, external partner systems, APIs, web services, and batch interfaces.
• Conduct technical impact analysis for defects, production incidents, system enhancements, and change requests to identify dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy defect fixes, system enhancements, and change requests in accordance with business requirements and project timelines.
• Develop and enhance Pega application components, including case types, workflows, data pages, decision rules, integrations, UI components, and business rules following Pega best practices.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to define technical solutions and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Support application integration with enterprise systems, databases, web services, and third-party applications while ensuring data integrity and security.
• Perform code reviews and ensure solutions comply with Pega guardrails, coding standards, security requirements, and application architecture.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-implementation verification activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, deployment instructions, and operational support documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior developers and support team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, maintainability, and operational processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with Pega platform capabilities and recommend adoption of new features and best practices where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. (Ideal Academic Qualification)
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Pega application development, implementation, and application support.
• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification is required. Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is an advantage.
• Strong hands-on experience with Pega Platform, including Case Management, Flows, Data Pages, Activities, Decision Rules, UI, Integrations, Reports, Correspondence, Queue Processors, Job Schedulers, and security configuration.
• Proven experience supporting production systems, including production issue investigation, defect resolution, root cause analysis, impact analysis, and enhancement delivery.
• Experience troubleshooting integration issues involving REST APIs, web services, messaging, and enterprise system integrations.
• Experience performing technical impact assessments and supporting end-to-end delivery of system enhancements and change requests.
• Strong knowledge of Pega diagnostic and troubleshooting tools, including Clipboard, Tracer, Live UI, Alerts, Performance Analyzer (PAL), and log analysis.
• Experience with Pega Cloud SaaS platform is preferred. Hands-on experience supporting or participating in Pega Cloud migration projects will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to Pega Infinity '25 features and capabilities will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, technical, and vendor teams.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced operational environment.
