At Queen’s International School, we are looking for an enthusiastic and creative French teacher to join our Modern Foreign Languages team for an immediate start.

The role

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of our school’s French language programme, fostering both fluency and cultural understanding. You will bring a passion for the French language, a strong track record of teaching within primary and secondary phases, and the ability to deliver engaging, interactive lessons that make language learning meaningful and enjoyable. In this role, you will help students develop confidence and achieve their full potential.

You will:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning aligned with the English National Curriculum.

Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential—academically and personally.

Plan creative and challenging lessons that stretch every learner.

Use assessment and feedback effectively to ensure continual progress.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the department’s curriculum.

Contribute to the school’s vibrant co-curricular and enrichment programme.

Embody the values and vision of Queen’s and Artemis Education in everything you do.

The ideal candidate

A qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in French and PGCE/QTS (or equivalent).

Has at least 3 years' experience teaching French within primary and secondary phases.

An educator with a proven record of successful teaching both primary and secondary aged students, ideally within international or British curriculum schools.

Experience of teaching iGCSE and A-Level is essential.

Skilled at creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that challenge and support every student.

Confident in integrating technology to enhance learning experiences.

A collaborative professional who thrives in a diverse, forward-thinking team.

Enthusiastic, creative, and committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
