At Quarriers Village Supported Living Phase 2, we're seeking a compassionate, dedicated and reliable Female Support Worker to join our bungalow service, supporting adults with a range of complex support needs including learning disabilities, epilepsy, gastrostomy support and mobility assistance.

This is more than a nightshift role. It's an opportunity to provide reassurance, safety, dignity and person-centred support during the hours when it matters most.

More About the Role

Working as part of a skilled and supportive team, you will:

  • Provide overnight support and monitoring to people we support
  • Promote independence, choice and dignity at all times
  • Support with personal care and wellbeing needs
  • Follow individual support plans and risk assessments
  • Respond calmly and confidently to changing needs during the night
  • Maintain accurate records and handovers
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and support

This is permanent role working 35 hours per week. The wakened nightshift position will work on a fixed rota pattern:

  1. Week 1: 3 x 10-hour shifts
  2. Week 2: 4 x 10-hour shifts

Please note an enhanced hourly rate of 14.43 will paid between midnight and 7am.

  • Has a caring and positive attitude
  • Is committed to delivering outstanding person-centred support
  • Can work independently and use initiative during night shifts
  • Has excellent communication skills

Previous experience in social care is welcomed but not essential. We value people with the right values and commitment to supporting others.
