*Position Overview:* We are looking for a reliable and responsible team member to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at Sharks Club. This role combines *security/bouncer responsibilities during operating hours* with *after-hours cleaning duties*.
Key Responsibilities
*Security & Guest Safety*
- Monitor the entrance and ensure guests follow Sharks Club policies.
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment for guests and staff.
- Monitor the venue for potential conflicts, unsafe behaviour, or disturbances.
- Assist staff with handling difficult situations professionally.
- Check IDs and manage entry when required.
- Communicate any incidents or concerns to management immediately.
*After-Hours Cleaning*
- Clean floors after the club closes.
- Sweep and mop public areas, removing dirt, spills, and sticky areas.
- Use hot water mopping where needed to properly remove floor stickiness.
- Check for and safely clean up broken glass or other hazards.
- Wipe tables, booths, and other public areas.
- Assist with garbage removal and general closing duties.
- Ensure the club is clean, organized, and ready for the next day.
*Ideal Candidate*
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Able to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Comfortable working late-night hours.
- Physically able to perform security and cleaning duties.
- Previous security, bouncer, hospitality, or cleaning experience is an asset.
*Main Goal:* Help ensure Sharks Club remains *safe, clean, organized, and welcoming* for every guest and staff member.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
