CNC Fabrication Machine Operator

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Location: Cocoa Beach, FL Pay Range: Up to $27.00/Hour (Depending on Experience) Job Type: Contract to Hire

Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Cocoa Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery, including any of the following: Plasma Burn Table, Water Jet, Drill Line, Angle Line, Shear, Press Brake, and Plate Processor.

This role requires a self-motivated individual who can manage multiple tasks, work independently, and effectively communicate with team members to support production goals.

Key Responsibilities Configure machine settings for safe and efficient production.

Verify material dimensions and measurements to ensure they meet job specifications.

Select the appropriate material type, stock size, and dimensions for each work order.

Transfer required production information and markings onto materials.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Accurately document daily production activities and material usage.

Perform routine preventive maintenance and assist with basic machine troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications: Previous experience operating a CNC plasma table or CNC sawing, drilling, or cutting equipment is required.

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

Kinetic Plasma Table

Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line

Peddinghaus Angle Master

Ficep Beamline

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, symbols, and production notes is preferred.

Must be able to read a tape measure accurately to within 1/16 inch .

Basic math skills are required.

Experience with overhead cranes and material transfer/conveyor systems.

Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.

Comfortable working in hot and cold industrial environments.

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs .

Experience with Tekla PowerFab is a plus.
