A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its adult cardiac surgery, valve, coronary and advanced perioperative cardiac care services and is seeking a highly skilled consultant cardiac surgeon to join its growing clinical team. Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients requiring adult cardiac surgical intervention.
Perform coronary, valve, aortic or other cardiac procedures according to expertise and facility privileges.
Lead perioperative planning with cardiology, cardiac anaesthesia, perfusion, ICU and rehabilitation teams.
Participate in heart team meetings, risk assessment, consent and outcome review.
Manage postoperative recovery, complications, follow-up and long-term care coordination.
Support quality, infection control, surgical registry, audit and patient safety programs.
Requirements

American Board of Thoracic Surgery
UK CCT / FRCS Cardiothoracic Surgery
European Board / National Cardiothoracic Specialist Certification
Royal College Certification (Canada)
Australian FRACS

MCh / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
