Quality Control (QA Engineer)

Job Description:

• Analyze business and technical requirements for test planning.
• Create test plans, scopes, and testing approaches.
• Define required testing types (functional, non-functional, regression,, etc.).
• Track tasks, progress, and test activities using Jira or Trello.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases
• Document test data and test environment requirements.
• Prepare test reports and defect reports.
• Execute manual functional testing.
• Perform end-to-end business process testing.
• Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Collaborate with developers and BA
• Design and develop automated test scripts (UI/API/Backend) — automation is a plus.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a Diploma’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of software testing concepts (manual testing, functional testing, regression).
• Ability to write simple test cases and test scenarios.
• Familiarity with project management or issue tracking tools (Jira or Trello).
• Basic knowledge of automation testing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work collaboratively with the QA, BA, and development teams.
• Qualification
• Experience minimum 3-5 years as QA Engineer, Test Analyst, System Tester or SIT Tester
• SDLC testing lifecycle (test preparation, execution, defect management, retesting, UAT support)
• Mandatory Skills: SIT & UAT testing, Test scenario dan test case creation, Test execution & defect tracking, SQL/database testing, API testing (Postman / SoapUI), Integration testing, File testing (XML, JSON, CSV), End-to-end testing
• Technical Scope: API integration, Middleware integration, File transfer (SFTP), XML & JSON validation, Data mapping validation, Reconciliation testing, Batch/scheduler testing, Error handling & retry mechanism testing
