Nauticus Global Services is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily finance and accounting activities, including AR/AP, invoicing, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, taxation, and other finance-related operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily finance and accounting activities, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, accounting documents, and supporting documents accurately and systematically.
  • Assist in preparing and recording journal entries and ensure transactions are properly recorded in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Support the preparation and review of Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet reports.
  • Handle invoicing activities and follow up on outstanding payments and receivables.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and ensure transactions are properly matched with bank statements and accounting records.
  • Monitor AR/AP balances, payment status, and outstanding transactions and coordinate with relevant parties when necessary.
  • Maintain and monitor fixed assets, including asset records and depreciation calculations.
  • Assist with tax-related activities, including PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh Final 4(2), VAT/PPN, tax reconciliation, and tax reporting.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial and tax documentation and support corporate tax compliance.
  • Use accounting and financial systems/software to record and manage financial transactions. Experience with Accurate, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software will be an advantage.
  • Prepare financial data and reports using Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and other commonly used Excel formulas.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, customers, banks, and other relevant stakeholders regarding finance-related matters.
  • Support other finance and accounting activities as required by the management.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Finance and Accounting or a similar role.
  3. Hands-on experience handling AR and AP.
  4. Good understanding of journal entries, P&L, Balance Sheet, and basic accounting processes.
  5. Experience handling invoicing, payment follow-up, and bank reconciliation.
  6. Experience managing fixed assets and depreciation, including Straight-Line Method and/or Declining Balance Method, will be an advantage.
  7. Good understanding of Indonesian taxation, particularly PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh Final 4(2), and VAT/PPN.
  8. Experience with tax reconciliation, tax reporting, and corporate tax compliance will be highly advantageous.
  9. Experience using Coretax / CTAS or other Indonesian digital tax administration systems will be an advantage.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and other relevant formulas.
  11. Experience with QuickBooks, Accurate, or other accounting software is preferred.
  12. Good command of English, particularly for finance-related communication and documentation.
  13. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, numerical ability, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
  14. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
