PT. Geo Tekno Globalindo (Geotrack) is an IoT Telecommunication company in Indonesia – with focus on the Maritime, Oil & Gas, and mining sectors. Currently Geo Tekno offers various solutions such as: Vessel Monitoring, Fuel Monitoring, RPM & Engine Hour Monitoring, Container Monitoring, Port Monitoring, and more. Currently, our company holding has over 70+ members in tech sectors as of 2025, and ~400 members in marine sectors including field operators and vessel managements.

OPEN RECRUITMENT: IoT Engineer As an IoT Engineer, you are responsible in the design, development, and deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. You need to possess a unique blend of skills in software, hardware, networking, and integrating sensors to create interconnected devices that collect, exchange, and act on data.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Marine Electrical, or related field.
  2. Fresh Graduate or 1-2 years have a proven experience in related field
  3. Strong understanding of embedded systems, sensor technologies, and cloud platforms.
  4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C/C++ is a plus.
  5. Experience with IoT platforms and data analytics tools is a plus.

Job Description:

  1. Design and develop IoT solutions, including hardware components, firmware, and software applications.
  2. Implement and integrate IoT devices and sensors into connected systems.
  3. Develop and maintain IoT cloud services and data management platforms.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IoT device connectivity, performance, and data integrity.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy IoT solutions.
  6. Stay informed about emerging IoT technologies and industry trends.
  7. Ensure IoT systems meet security, scalability, and performance requirements.
