QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

Our client, an Insurance Company, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer with experience in Playwright and/or Cypress to ensure the quality and reliability of their applications.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand system requirements and specifications.
• Create and maintain automated test cases using Playwright and Cypress.
• Execute automated tests and analyze the results.
• Perform functional, regression, and post-implementation testing.
• Identify, document, and report bugs to the development team.
• Re-test issues after they are fixed.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other teams.
• Ensure applications meet business and system requirements.
• Maintain test documentation and reports.
• Follow company procedures and QA standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a QA / Software Tester.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress.
• Good understanding of software testing and SDLC.
• Experience creating test cases and reporting bugs.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Insurance/Banking/Financial Services experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, API Testing, Git, or CI/CD is a plus.
