Responsibilities: Financial Management:

Manage daily accounting operations, including income, expenses, payments, and financial records.

Prepare budgets, cash flow reports, financial statements, and management reports.

Monitor company expenses, cash flow, and financial performance.

Oversee invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliation of accounts.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Support financial planning, cost control, and business decision-making.

Liaise with banks, auditors, suppliers, and other financial stakeholders.

Business & Administrative Management:

Oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the company.

Develop and maintain efficient business processes, policies, and systems.

Coordinate office operations, procurement, inventory, and vendor management.

Monitor the purchasing and availability of materials such as wood, boards, hardware, and other production supplies.

Maintain accurate records of materials, purchases, stock movements, and supplier transactions.

Support the coordination of production schedules, deliveries, and installations.

Manage company documentation, contracts, records, and administrative compliance.

Track operational performance and prepare regular reports for management.

Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to business processes.

People & Operational Coordination:

Support recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and employee administration.

Coordinate staff activities and ensure smooth communication across teams.

Monitor employee performance and operational deliverables.

Support payroll preparation and other employee-related financial processes.

Ensure the office, workshop, and operational teams have the resources required to function effectively.

Work closely with production, sales, and installation teams to ensure smooth business operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and business administration.

Proven experience managing accounting functions and administrative operations.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and reconciliation.

Experience with procurement, inventory management, vendor management, and office administration.

Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of business operations.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage.

Experience in furniture manufacturing, joinery, construction, interior design, or a related industry is an added advantage.
