*Job Summary:*

The Administrative Assistant in the Collections Department is responsible for the collection of payments for parking violations issued and reports to the Supervisor of the Collections Department.

*Location:*

Vancouver Office

*Employment:*

Full-time, Monday through Friday

*Hours:*

8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

*Mandatory Qualifications:*

  • Experience with Collections or relevant role an asset
  • Familiarity with office equipment, including multi-line phone system, printers and fax machines
  • Experience with office management tools (MS Office Suite, in particular)
  • High school diploma; additional qualifications as an Office Administrator or Receptionist are a plus

*Job Responsibilities / Duties:*

  • Answers incoming calls using IP Office telephone system from Avaya
  • Collects & processes payments over the phone and by mail
  • Negotiates & processes parking disputes
  • Processes payment reminder notices
  • Email sorting/screening, correspondence, & proof-reading
  • Type/create or update any other document as required
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned
