INVENTORY ACCOUNTANT ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory and accounting records. Monitor stock movements, receipts, issues and transfers. Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate variances. Participate in stock counts, inventory reconciliations and reporting. Verify inventory documentation and ensure all transactions are properly recorded. Support the preparation of inventory-related financial reports. Assist with month-end stock and accounting reconciliations. Work closely with Stores, Procurement, Production and Finance teams. Ensure inventory transactions are accurately captured in SAP . Perform other accounting and inventory-related duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience , preferably within a manufacturing environment . Bachelor of Commerce, CPA or an equivalent accounting qualification is an added advantage. Practical experience working with SAP is mandatory. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Good understanding of inventory accounting, stock control and reconciliation. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
